Jeffrey R McLaughlin, P.Eng., J.d.

With over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry, the last 6 of which as a high-volume real estate lawyer, Jeffrey has got the knowledge and experience to efficiently complete all forms of residential and commercial real estate transactions within the Province of Ontario.

As an active real estate investor and former real estate agent, Jeffrey is able to comfortably relate to the interests of all the various stakeholders in a given real estate transaction, and bring a unique perspective to the legal issues which arise within those contexts.  He approaches all transactions with a clear understanding of the bigger picture, and ensures that protection of his clients' interests remains a top priority throughout the life cycle of the transaction.

Jeffrey is an active member of the Toronto Real Estate Board, Ontario Real Estate Association, and the Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals.


Warren R Chin, B.A., J.D.

Warren currently practices real estate law and regularly assists clients with purchases, sales, and mortgage transactions. Warren also practices immigration and refugee law, and has appeared before Ontario Superior Court, Federal Court of Canada, and various tribunals including the Refugee Protection Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board.

Warren was called to the Ontario Bar after receiving a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts with distinction, from York University. 

Prior to forming McLaughlin & Chin, Warren gained experience with a leading global investment management firm in Toronto, where he was involved in securities, trusts, and administrative law and later practiced law at a downtown Toronto firm.

While at law school, Warren participated as a caseworker at the Osgoode Business Clinic, and volunteered with Osgoode’s Community Legal Aid Service Program, where he provided legal services to individuals and small businesses who required legal advice or representation.

Warren currently teaches part-time as an adjunct professor in the School of Business of Centennial College.

Away from the office, Warren enjoys an active lifestyle that includes biking and martial arts.


Stacey currently practices in the areas of Immigration and Refugee Law. Stacey attended law school at Queen’s University, where she contributed to the Queen’s Journal and became actively involved as a volunteer for Pro Bono Students Canada and as a caseworker for Queen’s Legal Aid.  

Stacey received her J.D. from Queen’s University in 2009 and was called to the Bar in 2010 after articling with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in Toronto.  

Prior to law school, Stacey attended the University of Western Ontario, earning a bachelor’s degree in Managerial and Organizational Studies.  Stacey enjoys traveling and learning new languages.   She is currently working to improve her conversational Mandarin and has traveled to China several times to pursue her interest.  Stacey regularly assists clients with their negative immigration and refugee claims, ensuring that every file is given a comprehensive assessment for the best possible chances of success.
